It was late 2024 when our design team sat down for yet another marathon prototyping session. Hours turned into evenings. Evenings turned into late nights. And by the end of the week, every single person at that table was rubbing their lower back.

We realized something that day: if we were struggling with back pain from sitting, our customers certainly were too. Office workers. Gamers. Parents. Grandparents. Millions of people spending hours each day in chairs that simply weren’t designed for human bodies.

So we asked ourselves a bold question: What if we could build a chair that actually cared about your back?

The Challenge
Creating ergonomic furniture isn’t new. But creating ergonomic furniture that’s also stylish, affordable, and built to last? That’s the challenge we set out to solve.

Most “ergonomic” chairs on the market fall into two categories: clinical-looking office chairs that belong in a dentist’s waiting room, or overpriced “luxury” options that few can afford. Neither worked for us.

We wanted something different. Something that looked at home in a living room, supported you through a workday, and helped you unwind at night—all without breaking the bank.

The Breakthrough
Months of research followed. We studied spine curvature. We tested foam densities. We flew to meet mechanism suppliers in Japan. We argued about lumbar angles over countless cups of coffee.

Then, finally, came the breakthrough: a 14-gear adjustable lumbar system that moves with your body, not against it.
